When rendering latex formulas the the Wiki by default used to use a mix of Math HTML for very simple formulas and in-line images for more advances formulas. This isn't really working that well and often produces very different looking formulas when Math HTML are used.
The best way to avoid this is to set your math preference (click preferences in the top right corner) to "Always render PNG". I've changed it so that this is the default for users that are not logged in and newly registered users. However, you who are already registered probably have it set to the previous default ("HTML if very simple or else PNG") so you might want to change it. |
