It is possible to upload files (not only images) to the Wiki and link to them using a [[Media:Filename.zip | Filename.zip]] link. Only selected file-types are allowed though (to minimize the risk for abuse and viruses). The allowed types are currently:
'png', 'gif', 'jpg', 'jpeg', 'pdf', 'zip', 'gz', 'F', 'f', 'c', 'C', 'scm', 'avi', 'mpg', 'mpeg' This is just my first guess at which file types we want to upload. If you want me to add any more types just let me know. Please don't hesitate to use this feature! In, for example, the test-case section, it would be very nice to for example provide links to uploaded files with meshes, measurement data, cfd results to compare with etc. This feature can also be used to upload source code of course. |

Following up on the discussion below - I forgot to say that please make sure that any files that you upload are free and not copyrighted by anyone else. If we distribute copyrighted material via the Wiki we'll be getting letters from lawyers soon...
