Approximation Schemes for convective term From CFD-Wiki When we shall fill this page, I offer to make common identifications, because in different issues was used different notation.
Also I beg everybody to help me with original works. Later I shall write, what is necessary. If anyone have literature connected with convective schemes, please drop me a line. http://www.cfd-online.com/Wiki/index...onvective_term Michail |

Thanks a lot.
But I'am very weak in understandind of unstructured grids . I offer to make page about discretization on unstructured grids separately. Also H.Jasak or someone of his students can write about perfectly. |

FYI, I've been emailing a bit with Hrvoje Jasak recently about the Wiki. Hrvoje is a busy man but I hope he will support and contribute to the Wiki in the near future.

well domp worry about the material, you can contribute as much as possible from your side, we will take care of other things. And about unstructured grids, i have practical experience of writing a full fledged solver, so i can take care of most of things. its just that it takes time to write things in details. but slowly we can take care of lot of things. we will see.

Yea, don't worry too much about the structure when you are working on the document, things can be easily moved or rearranged later on. The big job is to get all the text, equations and figures into the Wiki. I'm very impressed by your progress by the way! Excellent work!
One small advice - I noticed that you moved a page by creating a new page and "cut-and-pasting" the content over to it. It is better if you use the "Move" button - then the page history is saved and in case anyone has linked to the page from another page it also creates a forwarding. |

Thanks Jonas, but there was written something about to be careful with it, so I use more reliable method ;-)
About schemes. 10 years ago (1995) when I was a cadet of military college of Air Defence, my tutor tryed to explain me the matter of this schemes, but I was unable to understand him - it was too complex for me then. So it took 10 years to understand. We in Russia say: "during such long time it's possible to learn a bear to dance and drive bicycle" ;-) I hope that with turbulence modelling will be a bit easier, besides I've already heard something about its. ;-)) |

Hello, I work with finite volume method. I use subroutines writtem by sir Patankar, but I don't have the implementation the scheme quick. Can anyone help me? If yes, write to my email, please. Tank You.
