Sir, I am a student persuing masters degree. I come up on situation where I need to extract the co ordinates of maximum stream funtion contour in a fluid flow domain using 'c' compiled udf. So the problem here is I am not familiar with 'c' and how to write the udf. Can any one help me with this situation.
Thanks in advance. |

Hello,
It seems like you might be using a UDF with Fluent. Is that correct? If so, I would recommend using a custom formula/function instead of a UDF. This is a much easier interface for those with less experience. You can also use some max/min functions as well. You can have it report parameters that are being produced by the UDF. Let me know if this is applicable advice or not. Another option might to use the grid adaption functions coupled with your custom formula. You can then highlight regions and report on max values in the domain when you go to mark cells for refinement. Best regards, Clark |
