Hello everyone, this is my firs post on this community. I'm proud to be part.
I have to simulate the inside of a tire. My domain have a diameter of 0.65m, width 0.31m, is a toroidal domain. It is a problem of heat exchange, in which the walls, the 4 walls of my domain are in a determinate temperature. I have to determinate the temperature of the fluid (air) inlet the domain in a steady state condition. all my walls are in rotation of 80 rad/s. I would like to know what kind of mesh i have to generate, and the model of equations that i have to use. Actually i have generated a mesh with a 1st layer thickness of 0.03mm, grow factor of 1.15, 27 layer for 8.51mm of total height of the layers. All my domain consisting of 1047775 elements. I have used the k-epsilon RNG model with standard wall functions. After the simulation my y+ go from min of 0.35 to the max of 0.63. I would like if i'm simulating well my domain. thanks a lot and sorry for my bad english. |
