OpenFOAM::programming::customisedRASmodel::update old code for OF1812+ version

Hello, community,

1. I have to adopt a RANS model called "Antti Hellsten model, 2005" into OpenFOAM.
It is basically a combination of Menter k-w (SST or BSL) model with an EARSM (Wallin and Johanson) formula (instead of the Boussinesq assumption) for the Raynolds stress.
A few old versions of this code are available on the internet but they were modelled in old versions of OF (three different codes in three different OF versions- v1.7, v2.3.1, and v3.4).
Right now, I am using v1812+.

The Antti Hellsten model is a combination of <Menter 2003 kOmegaSST model> and <Wallin&Johanson EARSM model for stress-strain relation>.

I am still looking for a free-lancer/.

Hi Purn,

Thanks very much for sharing EARSM.

I also tried to program it and I found I got some weird result when my mesh Y+ is not 1.

I am wonder if we need to change some terms in wall function link omegaWallFunction, nutUSpaldingWallFunction and even nutkRoughWallFunction?

Which version of OF are you using?

Someone helped me on a Facebook group to find HellstenEARSM for OF1812+. Check the link below:

And, sorry, I am not familiar with the functions you have written in your post. I used the EARSM model from Dr Furst (owner of the above GitHub library) and then added a few functions required for building a transition model (Kubacki-Dick transition model) which is topic of my project.
