Hello,
Need urgent assistance. I am working on Pitching airfoil. I used dynamic mesh method to oscillate my airfoil and complied my UDF under dynamic mesh tab. Dynamic mesh oscillating the airfoil fine. Now in my case incomng free stream inlet velocity is only in x-direction which is 15 m/s i.e (15,0,0) , pitching ampl is 25 degrees, Mean aoa = 0 degree , osc. frequency = 1 Hz Now i just want to get CL values at 'different' aoa (i.e data history in output file) using Fluent. Right now i am getting values of cl vs time flow at single(let say 0 degree) aoa using tab solve>monitors.... Please can you tell me that in Ansys(Fluent) do i need to use Macro named 'DEFINE_OUTPUT_PARAMETER' to get history of the data required to plot cl vs aoa. and how the lift force will be calulatd for this (i.e pitching airfoil) case? I really appreciate your help. Best wishes |
