Question regarding QUICK scheme for 1-D convection-diffusion problems

Hi all,

I would like to ask regarding the example of problem of QUICK scheme for 1-D convection-diffusion in the book "Versteeg and Malalasekra 2007 An Introduction to Computational Fluid Dynamics (Second Edition)" on page 159.

Is anyone know how to show the special expression in a QUICK scheme problem as highlighted in the attachment?

Hopefully my post here is clear enough for you all to read and understand.
