Hello there, i was very new to FLUENT and working on porous walls,
imagine i have a hollow rectangular channel with so and so geometry...
I have created 2 frozens in which the fluid flows through inside channel(frozen2) and outside channel or material(frozen1) could be porous wall with 0.45 porosity.
My porous material could be cordierite...
i have blocked the outlet and made it as wall so that let me see the flow through the porous walls.
I used to run the simulation,,, but velocity and pressure streamlines are not flowing through walls of channel.
so, shall i have to alter the things? or i am in wrong way?
or i have to define the porous material and change aluminium to blah blah.. with external paramaters????

please give me the wayyy...
this helps me lot and go through my project....
MANY THANKS...

U need to set fluid domain in which the fluid from porous wall would flow into as the porous wall is acting as simple wall because it is not outlet. You could mail me details babanjaria@hotmail.com and i can help you out.
