Hi, I am a newbie using OpenFoam and about to create a simulation of oceanic wave. Through my researches, I found out to use the wave2Foam library. I followed the installation steps stated in this link https://openfoamwiki.net/index.php/Contrib/waves2Foam however as mentioned there might come an error when "Allwmake" file is run. As I run the said file I encountered this error:
FATAL ERROR. The directory path /home/user/OpenFOAM/user-3.0.0/applications/utilities/waves2Foam does not exist. Correct the path in bin/bashrc This means that you should correct the environmental variable $WAVES_DIR such that it is pointed (in absolute sense) to the path, where waves2Foam is located. Please note that once bin/bashrc is created, bin/bashrc.org is only an inactive file. The latter is also the only of the two files, which is updated through the SVN-repository. I know that the error is on the target file path. My problem is what file path should I replace in the "bashrc" file. 1. My OpenFoam installation folder is located at /opt/openfoam30 2. And my working directory for projects is located in /home/user/OpenFoam/user-3.0.0 Any comment will be appreciated. |
