Hi all
Freelancer Job I am willing to spend $500 (thru Paypal) to have one you to code an entire Matlab computer codes to solve 2-D inviscid compressible flow problem. However the Code must be validated and checked for accuracy of your numerical solutions, such as analytical solutions, experimental results, or published CFD, etc. (will be provided) results by other people. Also you need to compute the same problem using at least two sets of grids to evaluate the numerical accuracy of your results. I will forward images of problem if any one is interested. Thanks |

Hi cofferhugger,
Please send me the pre-requisites on sn@chmod.in. I have a masters degree in compressible flow and performed projects in conceptual modelling of gas turbines in Matlab. I might be able to help you. Regards, Subu |

I am CFD developer with experience on 3D turbulent N-S solver. I can write code for you. Do you have some fixed geometry. Which numerical scheme you would prefer. If you can give me flow conditions and geometry, I can better comment on efforts required. If it is shock tube and you just need to model motion of shock, expansion fan and contact discontinuity, let me know. Regards Sourabh Last edited by SourabhJain; March 30, 2015 at 13:24. This can be solved without CFD. Why do you need a navier-stokes solution? This is a classical method of characteristics problem.
I had this very assignment (almost verbatim) in compressible aerodynamics in grad school. Surely you aren't paying someone to do your homework for you, right? $500 is way too much for a simple problem like this. Can be done in an afternoon. |

Hi,
I can do it with godunov method using hllc rieman solver (second order muscl) and the results will be compared with 1d and 2d shocktubes and generally any problem from this paper Comparison of Several Difference Schemes on 1D and 2D Test Problems for the Euler Equations gomboli1 at gmail.com |

Hi,
I can do Riemann solver on both structured grids and unstructured grids using FVM and FDM. I have more than 7 years experience in Code development for supersonic/ hypersonic flows |
