Hello guys, been always a watcher but never a poster on this forum, but now the time has come.

I am currently investigating on how to post process a flow field of a suspension of rigid spheres in a newtonian liquid. It's a big project that will evolve into cylinders and deformable bodies immersed in the newtonial fluid. The actual CFD code used is in-house FEM, which we will consider as a black box.

What I am asking of you (for starters) is the following: I have as output the a) whole velocity field, b) particle positions and c) particle velocities and I would like to get a) normal stresses, b) effective viscosity and c) pair (or radial) distribution functions.

I am actually looking for a steady PAID (I am NOT seeking for volunteers ) partnership that could go on for whole academic year. I know I am asking some basic stuff but the field can be intimidating, especially for the uninitiated to the area of microhydrodynamics/rheology.

If you are interested please pm me or reply to this thread!
