Dear all,
I want to finish an XiFoam case. I am actually interested in creating a combustion case for premixed Hydrogen and Oxygen mixture that can ignite in a confined place and cause turbulence so I can visualise/create a DDT (deflagration to detonation transition). I have the stl file geometry along with the mesh ready and I know what I want. I need someone that can quickly provide good boundary conditions and a good decision on the types of solvers that I need to use and perhaps some help pn how to extract some results if needed This shouldn't take more than a few hours to an experienced user of XiFoam. Please reply quickly as I need the case soon. Thank you Stratos |

Dear Stratos,
I am curious if you were able to begin your simulations. I wish to undertake premixed hydrogen air simulations using XiFoam. I am very new to OpenFoam but I believe the first step in this process is to modify Gulders.C to implement a hydrogen laminar flame speed model. I was wondering if you have had any success with your simulations. Kind regards, James |

Dear Stratos,
Could you please take the time to update me on the success of your simulations? Many thanks, James |
