I am currently the lead of marketing and sales for Flownex Simulation Environment software. In addition to my listed experience I have been accepted to study a modular MBA at UCT Graduate School of Business in 2014.
I have been involved with Flownex Simulation Environment since 2008, initially as a technical design and support engineer. Once I realised my true passion was to develop relationships with clients and intern grow our market, I worked myself up to sales and marketing lead which I truly feel is a position I am well suited too. I have held this position for two years in which I implemented a CRM system (Sales Force), substantially improved our corporate image and signed established channel partners (resellers) in Japan, Korea and USA. We have more than doubled our number of users in the last two years.
I am in the fortunate position to have travelled extensively within my current position. In the last two years I have been in negotiations and presented material in the following countries; Japan, Korea, USA, Spain, Italy, Turkey and the United Kingdom. My travels have given me insight into culture and human nature and also helped me develop a global point of view on business.
I am an optimistic and driven individual with a desire to succeed. I have a passion for growth in any form, be it the growth of a tree I have planted, shares I have purchased or my career. I feel that with proper preparation and the necessary attention your chance of success is exponentially improved.
My personal attributes include leadership and sound judgment as well as creativity, analytical and troubleshooting skills. I interact productively with people from diverse backgrounds. I have a career history of achieving employment goals and a history of quality work carried to timely completion.
