Hi guys,
So I'm trying to run a dual fuel case where I created a separate port on the piston head as an inlet for methane gas. The length and diameter of the cylindrical port is 5mm X 2mm. The aim is to inject methane gas at about 40 CABTDC and spray n-heptane at about 15 CABTDC. At first I faced divergence when I setup both the intake port for methane and nozzle for n-heptane. Therefore I tried to test the port and the nozzle separately. By doing so the methane gets injected through the port and crashes at 150 CABBTDC. Same for n-heptane, it crashes after the spray and combustion at 150 CABBTDC. I get the same error for both the cases which is ArbitraryFaces, 1022:bad coordinates of vertex 20721 in cell 15047:-1.#IND -1.#IND -1.#IND This is an error that I have never faced before. In fact I used the same geometry to run many other cases without the port and it runs just fine. It seems as if the port and its arbitrary connection is creating an issue. But I examined those cells and they all look normal. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Pls feel free to ask me more details if needed. Thanks |
