Hi,
I have already done a simulation in MPI mode. now I want to restart the simulation from specific time step(say 254) in a new project. I can add the SSF file and correspondent restart file by right click on (case) but the simulation would not resume. please help me. Hamed |

Hi hamedhamed,
Normally, it should work. the previous calculation was finished at CA 254? As you may know, the restart files (rs0, rs1) contain two recent restart files during calculation. On the other hand, the backup file(*.bc_000???) contain the restart file on exact timestep which user defined. Please check this. - calculation period of previous calculation - timestep(crankangle) which two restart files correspondent - If you have other backup files near CA 254, please try with this. - in SSF, there is one option "Restart without time information" in Run Mode. Please check this option was activated or not. It should be deactivated. |
