Hi everyone, I want to couple avl fire to abaqus, I got heat transfer coefficient in avl results and now I want to import HTC data's to abaqus to get residual stress, Does any one know how can I do that?

Hi, you need to do the following:
a) project / map the FIRE output data to the ABAQUS grid (usually the two grids (fluid domain / structure domain) do not have conform interfaces b) use the maed data and create an ABAQUS input deck AVL FIRE Users often use FIRE user functions to do this. Regards |

thanks dear
but should I import both solid and fluid domain or Can I import solid domain only? if I use a simple translation in modify mesh tab so both meshes in fire and abaqus match together well, so does it need transfer matrices anymore? at last how can I use these data's to abaqus? |
