Hi:

I would like to know what are the specification of a computer that you recommend to solve Heat Transfer problems usign CF Design software that works closely with ProEngineer.

I would not use CFDesign. It is cheap, but it's very limited technically. Buy Fluent or Star-CD instead....

Yep, I would recommend a computer that does not have CFDesign installed on it

thanks Jonas, I use CFDesign for ventilation modeling and find it to be a useful, cost efficient, knowledgeable-user friendly and accurate (within usual indiustrial/commercial cfd limits) design tool. Wow, statements like that from a competitor, these are supposed to be serious companies.
