Hello,
Could anybody comment on the fact that Autodesk CFD generates unstructural mesh only? It sounds for me like a great drawback for the software. I know that nowadays vendors want to make their softwares user friendly and easy to use and that meshing can be a very tedious and tough task, but don't you think they went too far? I didn't use the software but it looks like the meshing control is not very sophisticated, there is sizing which can be viewed life to assess the mesh by eye and is applied to every edge in the model, which sounds creazy to me. There is boundary layer refinement option, Anyway, I would be greatful if anybody with expertise could share hers/his opinion |
