Hi , I'm a student who live in Istanbul and studying Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering at Yildiz Technical University.I have a project assignment in heat transfer course.Until 5th January I must have been submitted reports that must include the geometry of the working domain, mesh structure, boundary conditions, analysis results, etc.But i don't know anything about this program because they didn't teach us anything about CFD.Instructor said us "learn this program and do it".I tried but i didn't do.So i need HELP.Can someone do it for me?

Dear All

Can anybody help me how to create profile file. The fluent guide help is really confusing. I know I should go to boundary conditions, then profile, then write profile, but where can I write those codes (in excel?). Can someone step by step tell me about that? I really appreciate it.

This is what I need to have as my profile file (I have a cylinder which is by the way porous, the outside pressure of cylinder is changing from 1.5e7 to zero with time from 0 to 36000 seconds), by the way should I consider the operating pressure which is 1.5e7 which can make me write the pressure below from 1.5e7 to 0.5e7?:

((pressprofile transient 2 0)
(time 0 36000)
(p 1.503e7 0))

Someone told me I should write this code. But where? In Excel? In Fluent? How and where? I need a recipe to cook it up. Thanks
