Dear ANSYS Gurus,
I am trying to conduct a conjugate heat transfer analysis on a water-cooled cold plate with serpentine channels. A parametric Pro/E model has been setup, imported into DM and meshing has been carried out. The design parameters are the channel width and height. The problem will be solved in Fluent and results will be analyzed in CFD-Post. I have setup expressions for the thermal resistance of the cold plate and the pumping power as output parameters in CFD-Post. Can anyone let me know how to run parametric (varying only one dimension at a time) and optimization (each and every permutation and combination) analyses to reduce the thermal resistance while keeping the pumping power a constant? Please remember that the pumping power is a product of pressure drop and the volumetric flow rate. Thanks, John |
