DajeMoo is on a distinguished road
Greetings to you all, haunters of this forum!! I'm a newcomer and I've been using CFD softwares (like Fluent or STARCCM+) for some months now.
I'm a Mechanical Engineering student at "Università Politecnica delle Marche" in Italy and I'm doing my graduation thesys. My job consists in studying the interaction between air fluxes and complex orographies (in order to assess the eolic productivity of a place) through a CFD approach.
So far I've tested simple geometries using "body fitted-non orthogonal-structured spatial meshes obtained with Gambit mesher (in ubuntu linux)...that is, something like that you can see on the attached picture 1.

Now, I would like to carry out (on these same simple geometries) orthogonal-structured-body fitted meshes in order to compare the results obtained with the two types of mesh. (You can visualize the latter type on attached picture 2).

Unfortunately, Gambit is not able to manage orthogonal-body fitted-structured meshes and so I would be very grateful if you could kindly show me the existence of other systems to obtain this kind of meshes.
I'd like to know the way you would face my problem.
Thanks in advance for the time you will dedicate to me..."ciao" to everybody,

Marco Pinti.
