installing ansys license

Hi,
I want to know that is it possible to have ansys license server on windows machine but have other parts on linux machine?! I mean i want to install ansys 12 on my linux os while the license server is on windows os in our lab and i hadnt access to new key and should use our lab key. If the answer is yes how can i do that? Regards. |

I see no problem in doing that. you will have to configure the license server (your lab server) in your linux m/c using the ANSLIC_ADMIN utility

How can i do that? just change hostname in ansys.ini file?
