Hi everyone.
I was just modeling some 2d problems and hit a snag. I have a flow and a block in the flow with a heat flux being supplied from the base of the block however, at the boundary where the block and flow meet there is no interaction. http://i886.photobucket.com/albums/a...on999/flow.jpg http://i886.photobucket.com/albums/a...on999/Temp.jpg The temperature of the flow and block is right and the velocity field shows correctly but the heat isn't being transmitted from the block into the flow. Any ideas? Did I miss a setting somewhere along the line? or the model? Last edited by shorion; October 30, 2010 at 10:51. |

It's most likely just a scaleing issue. Scope your temperature contour to only the fluid and set the range to Local instead of Global.
