Hello, guys,
I am trying to simulate an axial compressor to compress a mixture of CO2 and water vapor, but have little idea how to set them up in FLUENT. Basically I know the mixture's mass fraction or Cp(with idea gas density), how can I set it in FLUENT?
Any hint would be highly appreciated.
thanks.

I think you can patch both of the fluids before the analysis as an initial condition, and I can say that it doesn't differ you solve it steady or unsteady.

You can firstly select species from Fluid i.e. CO2 and H2O from Material panel. Then from same material panel create a mixture , add those species in mixture. And finally, you can patch them from solution panel after initialization of your model.

In Eulerian transient model with species transport (non-reaction), I want to make two mixture material phases . From model >> species I selected the mixture template for phase 1 but I am confused how I can make another mixture material (for phase 2). Do I have to select a pre defined mixture form species phase property (like benzene -air ) and then modify it (delete species of pre defined mixture and add new desired species). Is there any other straight way like what I did for phase 1?

Thanks for your time.
