hydrogenum is on a distinguished road
Hi,
i'm a new user and i have a problem...

...i'm modelling a 3D roller bearing in Ansys and i've follow these steps:

-definition of the geometry (shaft+inner ring+rollers+outer ring).
-setting of material and elements type.
-mesh all components.
-apply contact elements between shaft-inner ring, rollers-inner ring, rollers-outer ring by Contact wizard GUI.
-apply DOFs (ALL) on the trasversal shaft's surfaces.
-apply surface load on outer ring
-...

...now the problem is...there're not a cage so....how to constraint the rollers? (30 rollers).....how i can to simulate the bearing's cage?

...i think there is a function to set a constant distance between rollers...can i use a Constraint Equantion?

....help me,please?.....
L.
