Cropping animation spatially

I created an animation via a script I wrote. The multiple windows in the animation only take up the bottom half or so of the workspace. However, ANSYS writes the entire workspace to the .AVI file. This means that playing the animation file externally or in a powerpoint presentation results in a viewing window that is twice the size it really needs to be with blank white space at the top of the video throughout.
Is there any way to resize what ANSYS writes to the .AVI file when saving the animation? Or any other solution to fix this? Sure, I could resize the windows to cover the entire workspace, but that's really just moving the white space around. I'm dealing with a part that is long and skinny, so it lends itself to a wide, but not so tall viewing window. Thanks! |
