I need to do this type of simulation where i need to calculate thrust and lift by transient analysis in ansys fluent. Can you help me to find how to proceed with it?I have done it pls say if its correct procedure
I separated propeller from aircraft and gave cylinder enclosure for propeller and box enclosure for entire aircraft and propeller. Then i boolean subtracted the propeller from the cylinder enclosure and aircraft from box enclosure and cylinder from box enclosure with retain body of propeller. But how should i give constrains ? I use transient case with SST k omega, coupled solver and frame motion for rotating propeller (one propeller in front of aircraft which is not in origin of the coordinates. So while entering origin of rotation in frame motion what should i give (0,0,0) or proper propeller coordinates? How to determine y+ value in this case? Should it be geometry length or enclosure length? |
