Hey everyone,
looking for some input here. I'm doing a steady state natural convection problem on a PCB in Icepak. PCB in a thin wall enclosure. Top and bottom of cabinet are wall and the sides are all vents. Mesh quality looks good. Face alignment and skewness is 1 (it's a simple block model). Applied a small upward velocity to get it going. Residuals seem to converge ok, but my surface monitor is not...It ramps up, levels off briefly, and then just keeps climbing. Residuals are set to E-4 and they converge at around the 100th iteration. |
