hello, good afternoon
I have been developing a project related to a pyrolysis reactor, but I am in doubt regarding the quality of the mesh, the project is designed in ansys fluent, but I am not sure about the quality of the mesh, a structured mesh with few nodes and objects or an unstructured mesh with many more nodes and objects, it should be noted that the orthogonality criterion is similar. |

With which program did you mesh your geometry ?
Usually, mesh quality metrics are included and therefore, you can check whether your mesh has a good quality in reagrds to the typical metrics (orthogonality, skewness, aspect ratio and so on) or not. A sensitivity analysis on each mesh (structured and unstructured) will help. Then, compare the meshes and look at desired output variables. |
