Hello Ansys users!
I'm now researching biomass combustion in a biomass cookstove. I'm having issues with air-fuel interaction while performing CFD simulation. In Ansys 18.1, I'm using a discrete-phase model to feed biomass into the combustion chamber. Normally, ansys displays the region of injection, but my ansys lacks such a command; also, after establishing the proper position on biomass fuel, it did not appear in the results contour. Also, I can't modify the phase at the air inlet places; it's set to the mixtures, even though I only want air to pass through the air inlets. Please advise if you have experience or understanding of how to properly simulate a biomass cookstove using CFD. |

Are you using species transpot model? At the inlet you can specify the corresponding mass or mole fraction of each species.
Besides, what is your type of injection, surface, point, cone? please specificy. Last edited by alainislas; March 11, 2023 at 13:07. |
