Hello i have a flow with a Vortex Genarator in it and i want a metric to measure the secondary flow. I have added the abs(du/dy-dv/dx) as vorticity. Is it a good variable to measure the secondary flow? Are the velocity curls given by ansys any better? Which one should i use? Is there any other way to measure the vorticity? Thanks for any help given!
