I have a laptop with 6th gen i5 with 2 GB nvidia graphics card and debian OS. I tried to install Ansys 2022 R2. Initially the license manager installation was getting failed as liblber-2.4.so.2 and libldap-2.4.so.2 was not found. I decided to circumvent this problem by making a link of liblber-2.5.so.0 and libldap-2.5.so.0 with the name liblber-2.4.so.2 and libldap-2.4.so.2. This solved the license manager problem, but the ./runwb2 gave following error message

I also tried to force my graphics card by

__NV_PRIME_RENDER_OFFLOAD=1 __GLX_VENDOR_LIBRARY_NAME=nvidia ./runwb2

But this failed too.
Even ./runwb2 -oglmesa gave same error.
The license server is running fine at http://localhost:1084/
I also tried to install the Ansys 2021 R2 on a different machine with i7 10th gen and 32 gb ram and intel graphics, but it is having same error. However the same software are running fine on windows machine.

I don't know anything about Debian, but being Linux based, I assume you are installing the Linux version, not the Windows version? ANSYS states it is only compatible with Windows and Linux, (not mac). I have no idea if this includes Debian?

Yes i am trying to install the linux version on my debian workstation. i could install and run ansys license manager on it successfully, but the ansys workbench will not open and throw the above mentioned error.

Excuse me, may I ask you where is the linux version you downloaded? I also need one to install it, maybe I will meet same problem and I have to solve it.
