EvaKn is on a distinguished road
Hello,

I want to simulate a Heat Transfer Process in Fluent.

In this simulation I have heat transfer from surrounding fluid to a solid body. The Temperature of the body is the whole process constant but its volume rise through the heat transfer.
So I can not use temperature dependent density in material data.

I thought maybe it is possible to set automatically at the end of the calculation a design point in Workbench with the new size of the geometry and material data. Is that possible? (In the end of the calculation it is planned to calculate through expression the new design parameter)

I thought also the option of FSI, but the DP variant sounds easier(faster) in the first place. Because in FSI you also have only the option of temperature dependent Materialdata.

Thanks a lot for your answers.

Best regards,
Eva K.
