I am new to ANSYS and currently working on single screw extrusion simulation. The streamline is only appear at the inlet but it does not complete the path until outlet.
I have tried to increase the mass flow rate, temperature imposed, larger number of iteration, or changing it to slip condition... but none of it is helping... May I know what could be the possible mistake? I am very appreciate for your help. |

Maybe you have selected a single plane in your setting for streamline in CFD Post processor.
Try inserting vectors from inlet to outlet to see if that solves the issue. Regards, Fellow peer working on Polyflow too. |

I used 3D streamline and make it start from inlet. I tried to insert vector, it also only appear at the inlet. |

Thanks all, problem solved. I guess is my screw clearance is too small so the plastic can't flow and only appear at inlet.
