Hi! can anyone anwser me please?
How to generate the grid including the periodic BC in two directions like Figs. 2 and 3 in the paper ( https://doi.org/10.1016/j.applthermaleng.2019.114447 )? The tutorials I can find for ICEM show how to make models periodic in one direction, but I can't convince ICEM to do this in two directions, nor can I figure out how to export this periodicity properly to Fluent! Thanks. Last edited by PF Yu; February 24, 2021 at 20:35. Reason: typo |

I would just model and mesh one section, then use mesh transformations to mirror and translationally repeat the mesh. I use CFX, but assume Fluent can do the same mesh transformations?
