Hello everyone,
I have two simple questions. I have a .tinXML file for one blade of the centrifugal compressor. I looked at the many different programs such as ICEM, TurboGrid, Cfturbo. However, I could not understand how I can use this file? You can find the file description below (1). Also, I have surface geometry (not body). How can I use this geometry for turbomachinery simulation? It cannot be converted to a solid body. Therefore, my mesh cannot be implemented on the CFX. If there is any recommendation for these questions, I will very appreciate. Thank you. I add the first lines below (1): <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8" standalone="yes"?> <CFturboFile Version="10.4"> <ProjectType>Compressor</ProjectType> <LengthUnit>[mm] Millimeters</LengthUnit> <Tritolerance Type="Float">1E-6</Tritolerance> <BuildTopoTolerance Type="Float">5E-5</BuildTopoTolerance> <Version>10.4.7.30</Version> <Component Name="_IMPELLER_1_"> <StepFile>compyenideneme_Co1.stp</StepFile> <ComponentType>Radial_Impeller</ComponentType> <MeshMethod>Delaunay</MeshMethod> <GlobalParams> <Topology>Full</Topology> <SegmentCount Type="Integer">9</SegmentCount> <Scale Type="Float">1</Scale> <MinTetSize Type="Float">0.25</MinTetSize> <MaxTetSize Type="Float">2</MaxTetSize> <EdgeCriterion Type="Float">0.15</EdgeCriterion> <PriLayers Type="Integer">7</PriLayers> <PriRatio Type="Float">1.2</PriRatio> <PriLaw>Linear</PriLaw> </GlobalParams> <LocalParams> <Part Name="Hub"> <MaxTetSize Type="Float">2</MaxTetSize> <MaxDeviation Type="Float">1.4395421</MaxDeviation> <PriHeight Type="Float">0.011160714</PriHeight> <PriRatio Type="Float">1.2</PriRatio> <PriLimit Type="Float">0.0625</PriLimit> <PriLayers Type="Integer">7</PriLayers> <PriActiv Type="Boolean">1</PriActiv> </Part> <Part Name="Shroud"> <MaxTetSize Type="Float">2</MaxTetSize> <MaxDeviation Type="Float">1.4395421</MaxDeviation> <PriHeight Type="Float">0.011160714</PriHeight> <PriRatio Type="Float">1.2</PriRatio> <PriLimit Type="Float">0.0625</PriLimit> <PriLayers Type="Integer">7</PriLayers> <PriActiv Type="Boolean">1</PriActiv> </Part> <Part Name="Blade"> <MaxTetSize Type="Float">1</MaxTetSize> <MaxDeviation Type="Float">1.4395421</MaxDeviation> <PriHeight Type="Float">0.011160714</PriHeight> <PriRatio Type="Float">1.2</PriRatio> <PriLimit Type="Float">0.125</PriLimit> <PriLayers Type="Integer">7</PriLayers> <PriActiv Type="Boolean">1</PriActiv> </Part> |

It seems a CFTurbo file. CFTurbo has interface with ANSYS Workbench, see: https://cfturbo.com/es/software/inte...nsys-workbench
Try taking a look at Bladegen, a highly automated turbomachinery design program within ANSYS. |
