hello everyone ;

a closed box of aluminum is subjected to sun , after running transient solution

how can i get the values of heat gained by a certain surface of the box and the air inside it ?

What program are you using?
There are many ways to do this.
look at the heat flux values at the surface in question, or reaction probes at the interfaces or boundary conditions.
For CFD-Post: areaInt(Wall Heat Flux)@YourInterface, then get these values for each time step. Then you can then integrate these to get the total energy.
For ANSYS mechanical, use reaction probes at your boundary or interface.
