Hello everyone,
I’m trying to solve this problem: Cube (steel) 1m^3 with 10kW loss. I want to see how this cube heats up. I tried everything and temperature is always too hight. (cube (solid domain) with subdomain 10 000 [W m^3] = 17 000K ) |

This is very basic stuff. You could do hand calculations to check this.
You have 10kW heating, so what provides the cooling? Of course 10kW and no cooling will continue heating up forever, there is no steady state solution. |

Thank you for your response
Air around cube provides the cooling If it works like "heating up forever" how do you solve heating up parts of electric machines, electric wires and etc in ANSYS(СFX)? (I really want to know) I'm trying to solve this problem just to understand ANSYS and how it works in ANSYS. |
