JannisSif is on a distinguished road
Hi,

I am trying to simulate the following case:

A soil domain having two different layers of soil (thus 2 different thermal conductivities), which is being heated up on its top surface for a period of 3 years (transient simulation). However, the conductivity values are unknown.

I have experimental measurements of temperature in 4 locations in the soil (2 in each layer with different conductivity), which I want to use in order to find the two different conducutivities using the "optimization" component.

I think my case is quite similar to the one discussed in this forum https://forum.ansys.com/discussion/7...t-conductivity.

However, I do not understand how can I calculate in CFD-Post the temperature at a point in a specific timestep and then export it in order to use it in in the optimization procedure.

Thank you in advance!
Best regards,
Jannis

rogbrito is an unknown quantity at this point
Boa tarde. Eu consigo estimar o fluxo de calor com as temperaturas experimentais usando outro pacote computacional. Sobre a condutividade, acredito que seja possivel.
