clown1998 is on a distinguished road
Hello, everyone.
I have FLUENT 19.0 in my own computer. The software version in our server is FLUENT 15.0. I calculate a case of stirred tank using MFR. When I try to calculate the same cas in my computer and our server, it is amazing that the curve of residuals to iterations is different. In FLUENT 19.0, the continuity residuals becomes smaller quickly than others and the calculation completes soon. But in FLUENT 15.0, the continuity residuals keeps large so as to make the calculation endless.
Compared the solutions with each other, the distributions of velocity and turbulent kinetic energy are almost same. But the continuity residuals of 15.0 is much larger than one of 19.0. Does anyone know why?
