ywerner is on a distinguished road
hello,

as part of a project im doing im comparing between a NACA0012 sharp trailing edge airfoil to one with a blunt trailing edge.

I produced this plot comparing the wall shear stress on the airfoils and im having trouble formulating a solid conclusion from it.

can i say that based on this plot the main reason for differences in drag coefficient is due to shape drag?

that is because the wall shear stress plots are pretty similar.

thanks
