Hi,
I am running a 2D simulation in Fluent with an aim to calculate the Drag Force. I get the the predicted value through Report -> Forces after the simulation has completed. Usually it is around 600 N. However, the Drag I compute through Report Definitions -> Drag Force and consequently observe through Monitors -> Report Plots -> Drag Force is different, around 10'000 N. question_cfd.png In both cases I select the same axis and the same wall geometry. Surely they should show the same thing, or am I misunderstanding something? Would you please help me to understand why these values can be different? Thanks.
