Hello everyone
I am currently working on my masters project and I have been facing a problem which involves the timestep of the simulation. The project is a simulation for a range of piston designs to determine the best out of the profiles, the settings of the models have been based on a previous experiment paper. Basically the injection model is with a square profile and injects for a duration of 0.18 degrees (1.5ms). The timestep I have set currently is Initial 5E-7 and maximum 5E-6. The problem coming up is auto clicker that whenever the crack angle is where the injection starts, the timestep drastically minimizes to E-8 and continues to do so until it fails due to time step being too small. I would like to ask if there is a way to work around this or if there is a way to set the minimum timestep. Thanks in advance Last edited by peggymon; February 3, 2020 at 06:07. |
