I have tried to mesh a semisubmersible geometry in Ansys aqwa through hydrodynamic diffraction. As i run the solution i get the error:
1)elements must be at least 1.000x Facet radius apart. 2)The ratio of the areas of adjacent elements must be less than 0.333 to avoid this i enable the GOON option which means it avoids the errors but it gives me the following error for a number of elements. UNDERWATER SIDE # 1 ON ELEMENT#21133 IS NOT CONNECTED TO ANOTHER ELEMENT. THIS MAY CAUSE PRESSURE ERRORS AND WILL CAUSE HULL PRESSURE CONTOUR ERRORS I have checked the mesh it does look good. has triangular elements and is within the element limit. they are all connected to node points. Is there any other way to bypass this issue of meshing. |
