Hi All,
I am trying to solve the behaviour of a floating structure on the ocean waves with a spring mass damper system inside the floating structure. Is there a way to model this in CFX or fluent. Solving only the floating structure is no problem using de VOF method with the rigid body solver. But in this case there is a second mass connected to the floating body via a spring and a damper, which affects the dynamics. This second mass is not influenced by the fluid whatsoever. Can anybody point in the right direction. Thanks. |
