Hello,
is it necessary to use the option "symmetry" under model for a transient thermal analysis (Ansys Workbench)? I use half of the model. Thanks a lot! |

No. Symmetry is just adiabatic for solid heat transfer. It is a frictionless surface for structural analyses.
