Hello
I have LIDAR scan data of my flume bed which I have in .xyz , .dxf , .xml format. I want to use that data to build entire flume geometry and run the model in ANSYS FLUENT. How can I do that? Any suggestion? Regards Rasna |

Personally I'm using Soildworks as an intermediate step when importing point clouds from Artec Studio to ANSYS Fluent cause of internal plugin.
In your case , try to export your CAD file as IGES format, import that file in meshing tool and save the mesh file, run that mesh file in fluent. Not sure if AutoCAD can do that... |
