Hi,

I'm trying to mesh an airfoil in ICEM CFD. The airfoil has a trailing edge with an arc radius of 8E-5 m. I checked the mesh quality (Determinant 3x3) and it is close to 0.02 only near the trailing edge. I tried increasing the number of nodes in the trailing edge but it did not seem to solve the issue. I have made sure that there weren't any duplicated vertices. I went through some literature and found out that this could be one of the problems.I have made sure that there weren't any duplicated vertices. I went through some literature and found out that this could be one of the problems. Any help would be much appreciated!

Thanks!

Hi Gert-Jan,

I figured out the issue. I was taking the dimension of the rounded trailing edge incorrectly which led to problems in the O-grid generation.
Thank you!
