flashpointer is on a distinguished road
if i use the LS-Dyna solver (instead of Autodyn) with my predefinied ansys Johnson-cook damage and failure model in Ansys, Dyna use only *MAT_SIMPLIFIED_JOHNSON_COOK command without my failure parameters instead of *MAT_JOHNSON_COOK .

however afterwards i can make keyword snippet but it looks useless, its simply ignores it.
So the question is can i somehow replace or expand the original material ?
Or does it exist a command something like that that the solver should use the material which defined with keywords snippet afterwards?

for a more simplified example :
the solver will not start until i define at least the elasticity of the material, but i can not change it later with keyword snippets, or can i?
so in my .k file looks like this:

material from database:

*MAT_ELASTIC
$ ID ro E pr da db k unused1
1 7.85E-09 200000 0.3 0 0 0

and at the end my command:

$-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
$---------------- COMMAND SNIPPETS ----------------------------------------
$-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
*MAT_ELASTIC
$ ID ro E pr da db k unused1
1 7.85E-09 70000 0.3 0 0 0
*END

and it always took the first values. I can not directly edit the .k file because it show me thats its simply an output file so every start will be rewritten by Ansys.
